During my years at Wix, I worked on dozens of projects focused on content creation and art direction, ranging from designing pre-built content for users to developing unique assets. These projects were always guided by trend analysis, a deep understanding of user needs, and a commitment to accessibility. In every project, I was not only responsible for the design but also led the art direction, collaborating closely with content writers, visual experts, animators, QA and professionals from various disciplines.

Occasionally, the Content Company of the Design Guild at Wix hosted a "Templates Marathon," where designers dedicated two weeks to crafting unique website templates for users. This is a portfolio template designed for an illustrator and designer, featuring custom illustrations that I created exclusively for this project.

landing page design and art direction

During my time on the Wow Team, we developed the Background Scroll Effects product. Our product launch strategy included creating a compelling landing page to showcase the product's capabilities to Wix employees. This approach was particularly effective in introducing the 200+ designers in the Wix Design Guild to the new features they could integrate into their upcoming projects. Whether for template designers or marketing designers creating Wix content, this strategy ensured the product's potential was fully understood and leveraged across the company.

For this specific landing page, I designed, developed the art direction, and curated imagery sourced from archive.org to craft the visual elements.

videobox library assets

ART DIRECTION

In 2018, we launched Videobox, a product that allowed users to use decorative motion-based content into their websites. We reimagined the traditional video player, transforming it into a visually-driven tool that positioned video as decorative element.

To support this vision, we built a content library for our users that aligned with the product's vision. Collaborating with a designer and illustrator who joined the project, we created those three trend-based video series. These were produced on a limited budget by animating static images, bringing them to life as dynamic and engaging visuals.
